Default Device profile for Samsung Smart TV ES model

Sorry if I missed a forum response to this question, but the latest info I was able to search out was on a older model TV. Just bought a Samsung Smart TV model UN60ES6500. It has DLNA, 3D and it is hard wired into the network. I'm running the latest version of Mezzmo 2.6.4.0. It connects find to Mezzmo using any of the device profiles. Initially Mezzmo will see the TV as a Samsung C device. Using this device type, the TV will connect, but will not display any of the video files and will disconnet from the server. I have tried all the device types including Samsung D. The only one that works for the most part is the Samsung B. Using the B device seems to let me stream video without any buffering issues, but I don't have FFor RW capability. Is there a new device profile I should be using that will give me all capabilities or a modification I can make to an existing profile? Kids are beating me up so any help with this issues would be great.

    Thanks

We don't yet have a specific device profile for this model, but we are happy to create one. We'll need to set of logs to create the device profile. Please change the device profile to 'Samsung D' in Mezzmo. Then turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Connect to Mezzmo using your TV and browse some folders/playlists and try play a few videos, music files and photos (even if it fails to play them). Then stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and send them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

    Hi there

Did you ever come up with an ES profile? I would sure like one as I am having trouble viewing pictures. Get different results from the Generic driver and Samsung E profiles. But it is not quite right. In Samsung E pictures are often not show in the directory and in the generic many pictures are shown downscaled to 1024x680...

    I have a Samsung ES6905.

    Thanks

I suggest you use the Samsung E device profile. If you are not using the current version of Mezzmo (v3.0.2.0), then please upgrade to this version.

We'd like to see a set of logs to see why pictures do not show in the directory. Turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. In Mezzmo, go to the Media Devices dialog and edit your Samsung TV device. In the Device Settings dialog, go to the Transcoding tab and delete your transcoded files. Now connect to Mezzmo on your TV and try browsing the folder with pictures on your TV. When they do not display as you mention, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

OK, I will send you the logs. It might be a few days though. And yes I am using the newest software. Thanks for your reply.
