Thread: Panasonic Viera model 2009

    Default Panasonic Viera model 2009

My Panasonic TV is back from fixing. Now I have an issue with Mezzmo, a lot of normal avi files shown as jpeg! They are under movies! Twonky show this file as normal video files!
I had a look into the Mezzmo software, there are two device with the same IP adresse but to different MAC adresses. I'm think one is the new and one is the old. Both devices was on Panasonic Viera (NO MPG-TS). I changed it to Sony Theater (both) no change. than i removed both divices from the list, mezzmo conectet then directly to the TV an identificated it as Panasonic Viera (Model 2011). I checked the Videos and i was happy, no jpeg files under movies... but as i excpected some movies don't work. No problem, i changed the TV again into Panasonic Viera (NO MPG-TS), (this settings and Sony Thearter worked fine 3-4 weeks ago), but no I have again the jpeg files... Whats wrong? Transcoded the mezzmo software this movie files into jpeg? It make no sense for me.

    Sorry for my english

    Best regards,

    Daniel

    Hi Daniel,

Mezzmo does not transcode your videos into JPEGs. What appears to be happening is that your TV is choosing to play the JPEG thumbnail since it cannot understand/play the video that Mezzmo is supplying it.

We'd like to see a set of logs when you try play a video but get a JPEG displayed. Please turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Connect to Mezzmo using your TV and reproduce the video->JPEG display problem. Then stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and send them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

    Hi all,

I think that here the problem of the latest version v2.6.4. I also have a 2009 Panasonic Viera TV, and just yesterday when I installed the latest version of Mezzmo, mkv and any other TV not supported formats shows like JPEG.

After v2.6.4 version my TV show ony supported file formats like avi, ts.

How I can downgrade to 2.6.3 while you manage this problem?
