    Default Mezzmo 2.6.6.0

Updated to the latest version today 2.6.6.0 and now nothing works. Every file I try to stream says "file not supported". It's the same with or without transcoding.
I reverted to 2.6.5.0 and everything works like normal. Anyone with the same problems?
Using a Samsung D-series TV through wired LAN.

I have exactly the same problem.

But different to your experience with 2.6.5. nothing worked for me on Samsung D. 2.6.3. was the last working release.

My other Samsung, a Samsung C has worked consistently with all recent updates and patches of Mezzmo - until 2.6.6 that is. Now my Samsung C also reports 'format not supported'.

Seems that Mezzmo has turned into 'Mess-Mo'.

Same here... after update Im also having 'format not supported'.

Conceiva Team, please open up a repository so we can grab previous versions. Im stuck on 2.6.6 and switching to Serviio while this mess is sorted out since I can't downgrade to 2.6.5.

    Hi,
this sounds like the device profile being used by Mezzmo for streaming to the device is incorrect, can you please try going to 'Media Devices' in Mezzmo and delete your devices from the list. Then when you restart your Mezzmo media server your devices should be rediscovered and associated with the correct device profiles.

Mezzmo Android: Install it on your tablet, smartphone, Android TV or Amazon Fire to browse and stream files from your Mezzmo library to all your devices. Full details at http://www.conceiva.com/products/mez...mo_android.asp
Mezzmo for Kodi Add-on: Install it into Kodi to stream files from your Mezzmo library directly in Kodi. Full details at http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?...odi_user_guide
Mezzmo for Roku App: Install it onto your Roku to stream files from your Mezzmo library. Full details at http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?...oku_user_guide

I've similar problems, using a Sony SMP N100. Since 2.6.1, I have had to set the generic 'Sony BDP, HT, SMP' profile rather than the correct 'Sony SMP N100 (PAL)' which worked fine and transcoded my MKV collection to M2TS.

If I use 2.6.5 with the correct profile it transcodes to MPEG and gives a file corrupt error, if I use the generic profile it transcodes to M2TS.

If I use 2.6.6 with either profile it transcodes to DIVX giving poor quality, stuttering and fast forward/back either freezes or ships to the next media. It always transcodes to DIVX with transcoding on or off.

Until this is sorted out can anyone tell me how to turn off automatic updates?

    Hi,
can you please try checking the box in 'Media Devices' to use only IP addresses to identify devices and then delete all the listed devices and restart your Mezzmo media server.

Anybody confirm this works? I took steps to role back to 2.6.3. I hesitate to upgrade to 2.6.6

    Yeah, this worked for me.
Using version 2.6.6.0 I was having the problem as initially described, also on a Samsung D-series TV, every file came up "Format not supported".
I stopped the server, deleted the device profile for Samsung TV and then restarted the server.
Now all the files play perfectly, and with no lag as I was having with earlier 2.6.5.x versions.

    This also solved my problems.
