    Default TH-P58VT20A And Mezzmo.

    Hi Guys,

after lots of messing around with different profile settings trying to get my tv to play files smoothly im still having issues.

i used to transcode by way of copying the stream but now it seems to want to transcode.
(ie. if i look in the ffmpeg output its using libx264)

this is for mkv files as thats all the media i have.

im still getting jerky playback and the transcoding had dropped to 15-20 fps where it used to be many thousand.
even if i pre transcode a file i still get the jerkyness.

does anyone out there have a similar panasonic display and having similar issues? or should i downgrade to a know working version so i can actually watch stuff on my tv not my computer

Please make sure you are running Mezzmo v2.6.7. After upgrading to this version (or even if you have this version already), go to the Media Devices dialog and delete all devices listed there. Restart your Mezzmo server and your TV will be detected again and re-listed in the Media Devices dialog. Set the device profile for your TV to 'Panasonic Viera 2011' and try streaming some MKV files. If they do not stream or are slow to transcode, then we need to see a set of logs. Turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Try streaming the MKV again and after a few minutes of streaming, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and send them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com. Also, send us the FFmpeg information on the MKV file. To get this, right-click on the MKV file in Mezzmo and click 'Get FFmpeg Information'.
