Default Slow FPS, PC having trouble transcoding after I re-installed windows

    Hello,

I just recently had to re-install windows and am now having problems pre-transcoding movies and streaming them. Streaming movies to a Sony BDP s480. Prior to re-installing windows, I was pre-transcoding most of my movies anywhere from 400fps-550fps running a AMD Athlon II X4 635 processor (2.90GHz) with 12.0 GB of RAM, 64-bit operating system. I would stream them over my wired network with no problem. However, now when I pre-transcode i am only getting 35fps max and my CPU usage is 100%. So i must be doing something wrong at this point if prior to re-installing windows my set up was fine! I am also using the same movies that did work fine before the re-install. PLease help!

Also, I chose the sony BDP, HT, SMP profile.

Also, I am given an option to transcode with makostra (which does not work for the sony BDP) and mpegts(which is the format that with work for sony bdp). When i pre transcode with makostra i get an fps of over 700. Why would the fps be so different?

    Hi agambel23,

Thanks for posting the information. This issue has been fixed in a patch for v2.6.7 and we emailed you details about the patch when you contacted us via email to our support staff.

If you are happy with v2.5.0.0, then that's fine. Or, if you wish to return to v2.6.7, then simply re-install v2.6.7 and apply the patch that we sent you to get back up and running.
