Default LG 3D TV stops and resume from start continually

    Hello,

I am using Mezzmo with LG 3D TV model 42LM620T.

Device profile: LG TV (2012 models)

On a couple of .avi files the streaming stops and starts from the beginning continually.

    File details:

    AVI format
    MPEG-4 part 2
    MP3 (MPEG audio layer 3)
    bit rate: 1027423
    sample rate: 48000 Hz
    ====================

Also: when I right-click on the file: properties/video/get properties from file, the program crashes...

    Any help advice greatly appreciated!

    Hi gerovital,

Please post the FFmpeg information on the video file that does not play properly. To do this, right-click on the file in Mezzmo and click 'Get FFmpeg Information'.

With regards the crash, you should see a message box displayed when Mezzmo crashes. Please click 'Go To Folder' and send us the crash dump ZIP file. That will help us fix this problem. Send to support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

    Hi Robert,

Using the 'LG TV (2012 models)' device profile, these AVI files are passed directly to your TV. It seems there is something in the encoding of these AVI files that is causing your TV's firmware to get confused. As a test, try pre-transcoding these AVI files to another compatible format. To do this, right-click on the AVI file in Mezzmo and click 'Pre-transcode Files'. In the Pre-transcode Files dialog, choose your TV and then click 'Choose Formats'. In the Transcoding Formats dialog, choose the bolded format and click OK. Click OK to start pre-transcoding. Go to the Transcoding pane to monitor progress. Once transcoding is complete, try streaming the AVI again to your TV.

    Hello Paul,

Many thanks for the prompt response.

I have pre-transcoded the file(s) as instructed but I get an error result:

    C:\Program Files\Conceiva\Mezzmo\ffmpeg.exe -i "F:\MOVIES\NEW\Lockout.UNRATED.BDRip.XviD-COCAIN\Lockout.UNRATED.BDRip.XviD-COCAIN.avi" -y -c:v libx264 -level 41 -profile:v high -filter:v "yadif" -c:a ac3_fixed -ac 2 -ab 448000 -ar 48000 -sn -f mpegts -threads 0 -async 0 -pix_fmt yuv420p -copyinkf -coder 1 -flags +loop -fflags +genpts -cmp +chroma -me_method hex -subq 7 -me_range 16 -g 250 -keyint_min 25 -sc_threshold 40 -b_strategy 1 -x264opts direct-pred=auto:b-pyramid=normal:mixed-refs=1:weightb=1:8x8dct=1:fast-pskip=1:crf=22:ref=2:bframes=3:aud=1 -partitions -parti8x8-parti4x4-partp8x8-partp4x4-partb8x8 -bidir_refine 1 -strict experimental "C:\Documents and Settings\Dell GX620\Local Settings\Application Data\Conceiva\Mezzmo\TranscodingFiles\3DEB6B7C-1155-4a90-A3FF-21425B61D269\3DEB6B7C-1155-4a90-A3FF-21425B61D269\Video\625-mpegts-libx264-ac3.mzt"

I suspect there may be something wrong with the file itself as it does not play with either WMP, RealPlayer or VLC. So I will detele this rubbish...

    Appreciate your help!

I agree, Robert. The AVI file seems to be badly encoded so that's why it does not play.

    Hello,

I am using Mezzmo with LG 3D TV model 42LM620T.

I am experiencing seriously slow transacoding speeds 3 fps (too low) on mp4 files that I did not need transcoding before! Suddently something has happened and virtually unable to play anymore of those videos (mp4 and mkv).

Also unable to change the device settings/Connection from "Gigabit ethernet cable 1gb" to "Ethernet cable 100Mbps". Also device settings/profile from LG TV LE to LG TV 2012 models.

I have an LG 3D TV model and cannot see any profile for that.

.avi files play ok - but .mkv and .mp4 mezzmo server has become useless - what has happened?

What version of Mezzmo are you running? Check the Help/About box in Mezzmo to see this. If you are running an older version, please upgrade to Mezzmo v2.7.1.0.

If you have the current version and the problem remains, email us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com and we provide a patch that has all the latest fixes.
