    Default Amazon UnBox

I just downloaded a movie from Amazon. It seems that Mezzmo will not play this format. It plays fine on my PC using Amazons UnBox player, however after pre-transcoding the file, it shows up on my Sony Blue Ray player as random color pixels. All other video files play normally.

    Any thoughts?

It could be DRM (digital rights management). Please post the FFmpeg information on one of the downloaded movies from Amazon. To do this, right-click on the video file in Mezzmo and click 'Get FFmpeg Information'.

Paul, thanks for the quick response, and sorry for my slow reply. My server power supply went down, then I just got caught up in life.

Anyway, here is the FFmpeg info...

The FFmpeg information you have provided is for a JPG file (I guess the movie artwork). Can you post the FFmpeg information for the video file that you downloaded from Amazon? That's what we need to determine what may be going wrong.

As we suspected, the FFmpeg information shows that Amazon has placed DRM into the video file and that means that Mezzmo (and ffmpeg.exe, which Mezzmo uses to transcode video and audio files) cannot decode or transcode these DRM-encrypted files. Since you are trying to stream this video to your Sony Blu-ray player, Mezzmo must transcode this WMV video file since Sony Blu-ray players cannot play WMV files natively. But, Mezzmo cannot transcode it due to the dreaded DRM. Sorry - there's nothing we can do about this. One option may be you can stream it to another DLNA device in your home (that supports WMV files). If you are unsure if your other devices are support WMV or not, then let us know the other devices you have and I can tell you.
