I was wondering if there was any progress with this? I've tried installing the prf file and setting it to be used but I still can't play mkv files as the server is trying to transcode rather than just stream them.
Is there a software update coming for this or a new prf file?

Yes, actually we plan to release 2.1.4 very soon (next few days) and that'll include an updated profile to support MKV files properly. If you want to get an updated profile before the update, please e-mail to support@conceiva.com and I'll send you one.
