    Hi cooltang,

Thanks for the information. Using the device profiles you mention, Mezzmo is streaming this MKV file natively to both your Samsung E-series TV and Samsung HT home theater system. As such, Mezzmo is not changing the file in anyway. So if your devices are stuttering when playing the file then it points to 2 possible causes: (i) your home network's bandwidth is unable to transfer the video data fast enough to your devices (e.g. if you are using wireless, then make sure you are using wireless-N with full signal strength; if possible try an Ethernet cable as a test), or (ii) your device's firmware cannot decode and play this file for some reason (you say that playing the same file using a USB drive directly into your TV has the stuttering problem, so this probably confirms that your TV cannot decode & play this file properly).

One thing to try is to pre-transcode the file to another format and see if that plays OK. Right-click on the file in Mezzmo and click 'Pre-transcode Files'. Choose your TV from the device list and click 'Choose Formats'. In the Transcoding Formats dialog, choose 'mpeg' and click OK. Click OK to transcode the file. Go to the Transcoding pane to monitor progress. Once transcoding has completed, try streaming the file again and this time the transcoded file will be streamed to your TV. Let us know if that is better.

Though this Galaxy S2 support relatively more video formats including MPEG4, H.264, H.263, WMV, DivX, Xvid, VC-1, Recording & Playback 1080@30fps, it still failed to play MKV on Samsung Galaxy S2 or even the Samsung Galaxy S3, especially failed to play HD MKV.

The following article will introduce a powerful MKV to Samsung Converter and a step by step guide on how to convert and play MKV on Samsung Galaxy S4/S3/S2/S/Infuse 4G/Tab/Epic 4G/Captivate/Vibrant and more at http://www.bigasoft.com/articles/how...galaxy-s2.html
