Thread: Not working with LG 47LD650 television

Exclamation Not working with LG 47LD650 television

The TV sees Mezzmo and is able to connect to it, but not much more than that. When I attempt to browse a directory (i.e. Videos), the folder displays as empty. The TV has no issues with the other DLNA servers I've tested. Windows 7 streams fine, but with no support for trans-coding. Wild Media Server works, but tends to refresh directories slower than Windows 7, and I generally dislike it's GUI compared to Mezzmo's.

Mezzmo is working fine on my 360 using the 360 preset, so it appears more likely to be a compatibility issue specific to LG televisions rather than an issue with my current configuration. I was using the LG BluRay prolfile since it supports most of the same codecs (see: http://lgknowledgebase.com/kb/index....D=6460#formats & http://lgknowledgebase.com/kb/index....D=6462#formats). I've tested all other device profiles in Mezzmo, as well as temporarily disabling my firewall, forwarding the server's port (53169) on my router, testing all relevant server and device options in Mezzmo, refreshing/maintaining my media library, and disabling all other DLNA servers.

I'd appreciate any help you can offer. Otherwise, I'm stuck with Win7 or WMS.

    Hello,

Can you please turn off your TV, stop the Mezzmo server, then turn on diagnostic logging (see this thread for information: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php?t=419) after that start Mezzmo server and then turn on the TV. Try to browse the folders, as you did before. After that, please stop the server and send the log files to support@conceiva.com - we'll take a look here and get it going.

    Thanks.
