Default Start movie @ a defined point in time, from the computer

    Hi,

Considering the sluggishness of ff via the remote (I have a fast computer with lots of ram, and it's a real problem with large BR rips), why not add a 'resume from' field somewhere on the gui? I have several halfway watched movies that I don't have the patience to go back to. Fforward goes backwards as often as forwards, stops working, resets at beginning, etc; even after I've pretranscoded.

    Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion, jon123nyc. What device do you have?

We've have a few ideas about delivering user-generated or auto-generated chapter points to devices so that you are able to easily resume at certain intervals. We'll add your suggestion to that idea and discuss it further here.

    Sony BDP-BX57.

My ONLY complaints about current version of Mezzmo are:
1- no subtitles support for Sony.
2- No volume boost through gui (I have to re-encode in other software to add DB)
3- The issue you've just addressed.

Other than that, I love your product. Thanks.

We have a prototype that burns subtitles into the videos for the Sony devices to support subtitles, we are currently merging this into Mezzmo and will soon have a beta for testing. We hope to release subtitle support for Sony devices later this year in Mezzmo 3.0.
