If the TV says that it's DLNA or UPnP compatible (or compliant), then it should work. It's hard to say which ones don't work, but it's safe to say that if the TV does not have an Ethernet port, then it won't work.
If you have a specific model, please let me know and I'll tell you whether it should work or not.
