I managed to configure my firewall by adding the port on which the server is running to the exceptions.
Denis,
I sent the logs as requested.
Appreciate your help
Thx

Thanks for letting me know - Mezzmo should've it opened it up, but perhaps failed to for some reason. I've received the logs as well and I'll get back to you via e-mail.

Hi Dennis, maybe you could help me with my Samsung UE32C6700 AllShare problem...
My TV is connected to the network via Samsung USB dongle wireless adapter. The Internet is working well, but the DLNA service (allShare application) doesen't work even with PC Share Manager from Samsung (version 4.2). I have win7 on pc (even this one conected via wireless to the network - Zyxel router) and firewall off.
On Samsung web site I discovered that my tv doesen't have support for allShare (no PCSM to download), but i understand that is a common issue, we need to download the software from another place...
The difference between PCSM and Mezzmo: PCSM automatically recognize the Samsung TV (but TV doesen't see the server...) ; Mezzmo see the TV after ~15 minutes from the moment when server was started, but the TV doesen't see the server... In Mezzmo Media Devices appear like "Unknown device" with IP addres, but no MAC address.
Other TV Sony KDL is working well (automatically recognized by Mezzmo).
It is strange that Internet is working on my TV but DLNA not! Could be a problem linked to the USB wireless dongle? Normaly, should work for both Internet and allShare ( http://www.samsung.com/au/consumer/t...pe=accessories )...
Could Mezzmo fix this?
Thanks!

We are not familiar with the Samsung USB wifi dongle, but my guess is that it could be one of the reasons for your problems. If it is possible, the ideal next step would be temporarily connect your Samsung TV to your Zyxel router with an ethernet cable. That would tell you if the USB dongle is the cause.
You mention your firewall is off. Make sure of this, or go to the Media Server Settings dialog in Mezzmo and click the Confgure Windows Firewall button if it is enabled. Also, check if you are running another security suite - that may have a firewall and be blocking MezzmoMediaServer.exe from accessing your home network or blocking ports that are required to communicate DLNA on your home network. The fact that your Sony KDL is working means that your computer is configured OK for Mezzmo, so I still guess it is the dongle. Perhaps it has passwords/keys you need to enter to access/configure it?

Thanks Paul for your answer, but today I spoked with someone from Samsung US, via chat (in Europe doesen't exist this kind of support...), and the answer was: "Samsung allShare application is working with USB wifi dongle, but only with Windows XP and Vista, is not supporting for the moment Windows 7!"... So I will try to instal WinXP with VMware to see how it is.
I will let you know about result.
Thanks again!
L.E.: even with winXP is not working, so for the moment USB wifi dongle could be used only for Internet application... not fair for Samsung!

Problem fixed by Samsung.de support! I moved USB wifi dongle from USB port 2 to port 1 on my TV and eveything is ok now. The strange thing is what is written near to USB port 1 : "HDD", so I was thinking that port is dedicated to mass storage devices...
Now I could enjoy Mezzmo without cables!
Thanks!

Great! And thanks for posting it here - maybe it'll help someone else in a similar situation as well.
