Default MKV, Hardcoded subtitles do not appear on Samsung 40C6500

I have not seen this before, but on this particular MKV file I see the hardcoded subtitles when viewing the movie on my computer. However when attempting to view this movie over Mezzmo on a Samsung 40C6500 there are not subtitles. Any help is appreciated.

When you say 'hardcoded subtitles', do you mean an external subtitle file (.SRT, .SUB, .SMI)? Or, an embedded subtitle channel within the MKV file? Perhaps post the FFmpeg information on the MKV file and that will help us. To do this, right-click on the file in Mezzmo and click 'Get FFmpeg Information'.

I think Samsung C-series TVs do not support displaying embedded subtitles for videos. I know they do support displaying external subtitle (.SRT, etc.). On your remote control, try the Options/Settings buttons when playing the movie to see if you can turn on subtitles.

    It is an embedded channel.
When using the remote there is no option in this case to turn on the subtitles. Although in the past I recall being able to do just that. Perhaps in that instance it was an SRT file.

I think that makes sense. If possible, download an external subtitle file for the movie, or try extracting the subtitle channel from the video file as an external subtitle file, and you should be able to see subtitles on your Samsung TV using Mezzmo.
