    Default Support for Photo Keywords

On the metadata theme, I can't find any support for Photo keywords, which could be used in active playlists, for instance. While integration with tools such as Lightroom would be ideal, a simpler alternative would be to support keywords. This can't be too hard, as jRiver for one, supports it.

    Am I missing something.

Thanks for the suggestion. We do have expanded support for more metadata on our development plans - including support for photo keywords.

Thanks for that as well Paul.

I have seen the 'we have x in our development plans' quite a bit, and I understand that given priorities, other features required etc, this might mean it comes in the next release or we don't see it for years, if ever.

Fair enough too, as you have many demands for features from your market. However, in my opinion, if you don't deal with keywords you are not really a media server supporting the management of photos. I think photos, by their nature, require more flexibility in metadata than audio and video, and other media servers in the market do support this.

Anyway, thanks for the prompt response and good luck with product development.

Thanks for your thoughts & I agree that more metadata will make for better photo management & streaming. We'll certainly address this.
