    Default LG 47LV5500 trouble loading

I have installed the trial version of Mezzmo. I have an LG 47LV5500 TV. The DLPA input displays the Mezzmo server. I can select it and view the folders. I pre-transcoded a 58 minute video. If I try to view it, it loads for about 30 seconds and plays for about 30 seconds. It does this over and over. I must have missed something.

    Please advise.

It is possible that Mezzmo is streaming your transcoded file to your TV but your home network is too slow to transmit the video in real time, so your TV must wait to load some of the movie and then play it, and so on. We recommend you use Ethernet cables for your home network for fast, stable streaming - or if you wish to use wireless, then use wireless-N with full signal strength.

    Paul,

Thanks for your reply. I can watch Amazon videos on the TV without the same loading pauses. They are streamed over the same home network. I have a linksys router that I am not using with our current Bright House wireless network. Is it possible to use it? Can you point me to something that tells me how to configure it?

    Thanks,
    Julie

    Hi Julie,

Please send us a set of logs when you stream the video and we'll see if we can see what's going wrong. Turn on logging in Mezzmo (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Connect to Mezzmo using your LG TV and then start streaming the video. When it stops midway and starts playing it again, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all your logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

The fix should be included in Mezzmo v3.1. Have you upgraded to this new version?
