When I make an active playlist for my TV series I will get a double category of the same show if the title is not exactly the same spelling eg: "The Walking Dead" and "the walking dead" will make 2 separate categories.

Thanks for reporting this. We'll look into normalizing series names.
For now, you can edit the Properties for the file in Mezzmo that has the lowercase series name and make the Series name the correct case. That will remove the duplicate entry in the Series playlist.
