Support for Sony BDP-570 Bluray player
Hi,
Can anyone suggest a good profile for the above blurray player?
Every time I try and play an HD mkv file with DTS audio I get 'error corrupt file'
If I can get it to work better than wmp12 (which works but downmixes the audio to stereo) I think I shall purchase a full copy.
Many thanks

Hi,
Please post FFmpeg information about that file here and send a message to support and I'll send you an updated device profile for the Sony BDP.

Me Too...
I have the Sony 370 Blu Ray player and would like a profile. The 370,470, 570 and Bx37 and all very similar differing only in extra features such as wireless and 3D, one profile should fit all.

I don't think that the players support Matroska - looking at the spec here: http://www.sony.co.uk/product/blu-ra...TechnicalSpecs I don't see it, so that file will need to be transcoded. Most probably transcoding is failing for one reason or another - can you please generate a diagnostic log of trying to play that file and send it in to support (at) conceiva (dot) com for investigation? I suspect I know the issue and I'll send you a patch and an updated device profile for the player then.

The manual is not quite clear on formats, it does say this:
MPEG-4 AVC extensions supported: .mp4 .mkv, .m4v, m2ts, mts
Now, those may only be supported via USB or disk, I have no idea.
