Question videos play for a minute or so then goes back to menu

    Hi
I am trialling Mezzmo on a Panasonic Viera HD latest model. Problem is when i go to the Mezzmo server on the tv and try to play a movie one of 2 things happens:
    1. movie will play for 10 seconds up to a minute or 2 then it goes back to the list I chose it from, or
    2. try to play a movie and i get a "please wait" then it says "cannot read file". other times it does read the file.
I am trialling on 2 computers, my P4 3.00Ghz processor with 2 Gb ram XP home sp3 and work laptop with Intel Core Duo 2 processor T9550 (2.6Ghz, 1066Mhz FSB, 6Mb L2 cache) 4Gb DDR2 ram Windows 7Pro. connected via 100Mb wired network.
I have changed the settings in Mezzmo to accomodate the processor, network connection speed, transcoding (lowered quality) and resolution but still no luck.
I like the software and would love to get it running properly.
All the files play fine using the video out connection on the XP machine to my old CRT tv.
Is there something I have missed?
I used the work laptop in case the XP machine didn't have enough grunt.
any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    Hi,

Can you please turn on diagnostic logging (see this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread.php?t=419), then trying playing that file again and after it stops, please shut down the server and send the logs (all of them) to support (at) conceiva (dot) com for further investigation. It may be a transcoding issue or something else, but the logs should show that. We have a patch that you may need.
