Some devices do let you FF/REW while transcoding, but some others do not. There is nothing in Mezzmo stopping devices from FF/REW while transcoding is taking place.

The main problem for devices is when a file is transcoding on-the-fly, you may wish to fast forward to a part of the video or music that does not yet exist (i.e. that part of the file has not been transcoded as yet). When this occurs, often a device will stop playing the file, or start form the beginning or not let you FF/REW.

Thanks for letting us know. We can easily fix this. It will be a device profile tweak. Please email us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com and tell us your device (incl. manufacturer and model), the device profile assigned to your device in Mezzmo (go to Media Devices dialog to see this) and the FFmpeg information on the video you are streaming (right-click on the video in Mezzmo and click 'Get FFmpeg Information').
