Thread: Mezzmo.db Issue

    Question Mezzmo.db Issue

    Hi Mezzmo-Support,

    Unfortunately I experience an issue related to the Mezzmo.db file. As soon as Mezzmo starts an error message appears (see last line of the logfile below) and the database file is being automatically renamed. Mezzmo then starts with an empty database file. I activated logging in Mezzmo and this is what I found in the log:

    1 - Mar 17 15:38:10.600 [ThreadID:2738] - (1363531090,600) - [00] - <00> - [2738] ************************************************** InitInstance
    2 - Mar 17 15:38:10.600 [ThreadID:2738] - (1363531090,600) - [00] - <00> - [2738] DBE > SQLitePrepare error: 11 (database disk image is malformed) - PRAGMA table_info(MGOFile);
    3 - Mar 17 15:38:10.600 [ThreadID:2738] - (1363531090,600) - [00] - <00> - [2738] DBE> Database file C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Conceiva\Mezz mo\Mezzmo.db is corrupt, moving the file to C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Conceiva\Mezz mo\Mezzmo.bak_err

    Mezzmo Version 3.0.2.0

    Anything I can do? Are you able to help?

    Many Thanks,
    Michael

    Hi Michael,

    Thanks for reporting this. Please zip up the "Mezzmo.bak_err" file and email it to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com. If it is larger than 10MB zipped, then upload it to a filesharing site like mega, dropbox or rapidshare and email us the download link. We'll analyze what may have gone wrong.

    Thanks. I am currently trying to get all the artwork / covers back, which is a lot of manual work. Perhaps it makes sense to think about an automatic backup function or an option that let the user decide whether he wants his db to be backed up after exiting Mezzmo or once a day/week, etc...should not be that difficult to implement.
