Default How can I create a Playlist for movies that dont lookup details properly

Sometime Mezzmo fails to look up a movie in the internet database for various reasons; I am trying to create a Smart List that will contain those failed entries.

I have tried artist does not contain ‘,’ and genre does not contain ‘,’ with no luck is there a way to search for artist = null? Or another is there another option

One way is to create a smart playlist that says:

    genre does not contain A
    genre does not contain B
    ....
    genre does nto contain Z

and match on all. It will be a large rule set (26 rules A-Z) but it will work.

what about just using the rules for a,e,i,o and u? Unlikely it would miss very much.

Good point. I hadn't considered that approach.

I tried this approach but when no lookup has been done the field is null and the does not contain does not work. If there is anything in the field it works fine

Version 3.1 does work better but if I misspelled the movie name or there are 2 movies with the same name it needs manual attention. I also used if year = 0 but again that does not work of field is null.

    Hi Craig,

We'll add support for searching for blank entries in smart playlists. It will be included in the next Mezzmo release. Or, you can email us now at support [at] conceiva [dot] com for a patch that has this functionality.
