Does Mezzmo have a limit to the # of files in a folder/share?
Hi Dennis,
First, it's great to see that the freeze problem when streaming to WD TV Live has been fixed. However, another problem has reared its ugly head. This issue happens with both my WD TV Live as well as my buddy's.
I'm trying to scroll through one of my folders that currently contains 299 files. It will scroll through the first few pages, but then it suddenly comes up with an error: "There is no media in the current folder." If I click OK to this message, it returns me to the main menu. If I go back into the folder, it takes me directly to the page that I was trying to get to. I can scroll through a couple more pages, but then the error message comes up again. After going through this 2-3 times, the Mezzmo service will stop (although the Mezzmo application will still claim that it's running), and I have to manually restart it.
My buddy's Mezzmo library doesn't have as many files in his folders/shares, but he still experiences the same problem. We even tried splitting files up into smaller sets within the folders, but the problem persisted.
This issue does not occur when using Windows Media Player 12 to stream the media.
The only reason I can think of as to why this is happening is possibly because Mezzmo can only handle a certain number of files in its overall media library. Is it possible to increase the program's buffer size (or whatever needs to be done) to handle a much larger number of files in its library?
Thanks,

Hi,
Mezzmo does not have any limits on the number of files, so it must be some issue... I'll try it out with our WD TV Live here and get back to you with results a bit later. If it's a bug, we'll of course fix it. Thanks for bringing this up!

Just one other question - which viewing mode are you in? With the large video on the right or not?
And when you scroll, do you hold the button down or click through each item one-by-one?

I've reproduced it, so please ignore my questions We'll have it fixed - if you're interested in trying a patch, please send a message to support. Thanks!

Thanks for the quick fix, Dennis! I'll send you an e-mail shortly.
I'll still answer your above questions, at least for reference. The viewing mode I normally use on WD TV Live is "List" (as opposed to "Thumbnail"). I scroll through the folders using the page up/page down buttons, but I don't hold the buttons down.
Thanks again,

Thanks for the info. I'll send you a patch via e-mail once it's ready.
