Thread: PS3 won't find Mezzmo as a media server

Default PS3 won't find Mezzmo as a media server

My hard drive recently crashed and I had to re-install all applications. In addition I also recently moved, so I am setting up my entire system from scratch (except the database and media files). I can view and play files from my PC within Mezzmo just fine, but my PS3 won't find Mezzmo. When I search for media servers, it comes back the its found one, and it is WMS, Mezzmo is nowhere to be found. Is there a setting I've missed to get the two to hook up?

I am running Windows 7 and Mezzmo 3.2.0.0

I figured out the issue, I just had to delete the PS3 from the media devices and it appeared to automatically search and find it.

Same thing happened to me. This post gave me the clue I needed, thanks!

Before deleting the entry I noticed it had the same IP as another device in the list. So I guess Mezzmo was only allowing a PS/2 from THAT address.

Thanks for letting us know. We'll look into duplicate IP addresses in our Media Devices list.
