Unhappy Samsung UN55D6000 issue with Mezzmo

    Hello,

I have been using Mezzmo for almost a year now with a few issues on my television, but they were very small (when trying to browse folders with multiple tv shows or movies it would pop up an error... moving to another directory and then back into the folder corrected the issue).

I have updated to the most recent Mezzmo 3.2.0.0 and now my Mezzmo isn't recognized on my television.

I have port forwarded all necessary ports for Mezzmo. I removed all devices from the media devices and allowed Mezzmo to search for them again. I run with no Windows based firewalls. My television and host machine both run with static IP's so neither have changed. I can see on my Television my NAS which runs Twonky Media server (have had no issues in the past with Twonky and Mezzmo working simultaneously).

I tried stopping and restarting my media service and shutting down Mezzmo entirely once that is done. I then fire up the software and restart the media server with negative results.

Just wondering what has changed in that time that has messed up Mezzmo for my Television?

I have enabled logging and will be sending the log files into your email address shortly.

    Thanks

We've received your logs and have analyzed them. It appears that something may be blocking DLNA communication. Your TV contacts Mezzmo and Mezzmo responds immediately. After that, there's no more communication between Mezzmo and your TV. That typically means that your TV did not receive Mezzmo's response (...otherwise it would have requested more information such as a folder list, etc.). Check that your Mezzmo port (see Media Server Setting dialog for port number - typically 53168) and the UPnP ports (1900, 2869) are not being blocked by anything on your home network. Routers can be the common cause of this problem, so turn you router off for 1 minute and turn it back on. Try connecting to Mezzmo now. If no better, then check your router's settings - we list a bunch of router settings in this FAQ that can affect DLNA server connection - http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...ur-DLNA-device
