Default View videos from same PC and different PC

How do I view videos on the same machine I have Mezzmo on? When I edit VOB videos of TV shows
I like to verify episodes are what I think they are but I can't watch the video Mezzmo has in its
database from the PC where it's installed. I have to run back and forth between rooms to check
    the video content.

Also - I'd like to be able to enjoy the contents of the Mezzmo database (videos/music) from an HTPC
I have in the living room. I can do that from Windows but it would be nice to be able to use Mezzmo.

And I wonder if the previous is possible - how do I watch/listen to anything from a tablet?

I "guess" I'm asking how to do "URL Streaming" but the term remains unclear to me.

One more thing - why is "Mezzmo" being flagged by the spell checker? Good grief - wouldn't a
companies products not be flagged as misspelled words?

    Hi Larrym19,

If you wish to view your files on your PC, then you can do this in a few ways: (i) in Mezzmo, go to the playlist or folder and right-click on a video and click 'Play'. This will play the video in your default media player that is installed on your PC (e.g. Windows Media Player, VLC, etc.), or (ii) install a media player that acts as a DLNA client onto your PC and then you can browse your Mezzmo library just like you browse it on your other DLNA devices in your home. For this, I suggest installing XBMC. Make sure you assign the 'XBMC' device profile in the Media Devices dialog for your XBMC media player for best streaming results.

If you have a HTPC, then you can install a DLNA media player on it - such as XBMC - and that will let you connect to your Mezzmo server and browse/play all your files from your Mezzmo library. Again, make sure you assign the 'XBMC' device profile in the Media Devices dialog for your HTPC's XBMC media player for best streaming results.

For your tablet, if you have an Android-based tablet, then I'd suggest the combination of the BubbleUPnP app and MX Video Player app. Make sure your assign the 'BubbleUPnP To MX Player' device profile for your tablet device. For an iPad (iOS) tablet, I'd suggest AirPlayer or ArcMC apps. Choose the 'Generic Device (NTSC)' device profile in Mezzmo for these apps.

"Play" is greyed out. Any way to correct this?

This appears to be greyed out only with the ripped DVDs, i.e. the VOB files. The default
program for these file types is VLC. Movies that are in containers do have the "Play"
enabled, i.e. MKV, DIVX, AVI, etc.

    Hi Larrym19,

For ripped DVDs and DVD ISOs, you cannot right-click and play the DVD video titles since they are gapless multi-files created by Mezzmo - i.e. Mezzmo reads the DVD's file structure (IFO) and determines the videos contained on the DVD. Often the DVD video titles are made up of one or more VOBs.
