Default AVI audio muffled every few seconds

    Hello,

I have Oshare and Mezzmo loaded currently. For some reason Mezzmo audio on AVI streaming sounds muffled every few seconds but with Oshare I'm not suffering that issue. I have not noticed this issue with Oshare on the same videos.

    Hi boe,

    A few questions:

    • What device are you streaming to?
    • What device profile is assigned to your device in the Media Devices dialog in Mezzmo?
    • Post the FFmpeg information for the AVI. Right-click on the AVI in Mezzmo and click 'Get FFmpeg Information'.

    Hello Paul,

    Thanks for the quick help!

I'm streaming to an Oppo 103 from Windows 8 x64 - both with all the updates available.
The device profile says Oppo BDP

Thanks for the information. Mezzmo is streaming your AVI directly to your Oppo, so it may be the audio channel inside your AVI that your Oppo can decode or play correctly. One reason Oshare may be working is that it may be transcoding the AVI to another format. You can also try this with Mezzmo. Right-click on the video and click 'Pre-transcode Files'. In the Pre-transcode Files dialog, select your device and click 'Choose Formats'. In the Pre-transcode Formats dialog, choose the bolded format and click OK. Then select the 'Pre-transcode formats even if they match the device's supported formats' checkbox. Click OK and wait until transcoding has completed. Then try streaming the AVI to your Oppo now.
