Default Cant play mkv files from external drive

    Hi folks,

i am testing the programm and i must say what i see is great ... fantastic possibility to organize things..

but when it comes to streaming some important things did not work ...

my movies are stored in an external drive i tried to start mkv files ... then the video plays a few seconds on my TV quits, turn off an the next video file is starting and so on ... really have no ideo why this happens ... every other DNLA Device i testet did not have these problems ... would be sad if tat was not possible to manage cause i think if it works i would decide for Mezzmo..

Anybody an idea what to do? Anybody had similar problems?

    Thx alot,

    greets,

    smaaaa

    Hi,

Can you please tell me the make and model of your TV? Most probably those MKVs are being transcoded and that's taking a long time, preventing smooth playback. We already have updates available for several devices to fix this or make it better, but it depends on what TV you have.

    Hi Dennis,

    thx for reply,

sure, it is a Samsung LE37B650T2P (it can play mkv by using external drive direct connected to TV)

i donīt think the TV or the extrenal drive has a problem, cause i used Twonky and Wild Media Server the same way and it streams without problems..

but as you know Mezzmo got the better features so i would really enjoy fixing that problem!
