Question How to set up a fixed resolution?

    Hi,
I'm new here and using Mezzmo 3.2 for a while.
Well, I can nearly play everything thanks to Mezzmo, 3D, 21:9 format and every codec I am using for videos without to change any settings.
My TV is a Thomson 47FU8765. Supports 3D (many methods), DLNA, USB Play etc. (Not DTS, says Mezzmo)
My TV won't play videos that aren't 4:3 or 16:9. So I'm only capable of watching 21:9 because of Mezzmo.
But Mezzmo doesn' fix it, if only 20 pixels are missing.
The TV won't play a video with a resolution of 1920x1040. I hoped, like with the 21:9 format, Mezzmo would fix it.
    But it doesn't.
Is there a way to fix this?

Other suggestions/problems - low priority but would be nice
I think thumbnails are turned on on Mezzmo, but my TV doesn't show them. Maybe my TV don't support thumbnails.
I really miss transcoding settings. I know I can modify the profiles, but thats unclear/confusing. Looking to the transcoding settings and maybe changing them would be nice. In the GUI.

    Hi Yama,

    Some answers:

    1. We can add the supported video resolutions into the device profile so that Mezzmo server only delivers videos at those resolutions. What device profile are you using? There is a Thomson TV device profile in Mezzmo, so make sure you are using this one.

    2. Regarding thumbnails, we can try a few things to get thumbnails working. Email us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com & we'll supply an updated Thomson TV device profile to try. Do you see thumbnails for photos and music on your TV?

    3. We do plan to have a device profile editor in a future version of Mezzmo. Thanks for the suggestion.

Yes, I am using the Thomson TV profile (Mezzmo selected automatically on first connect Pionneer PDB, but it works the same for me.)

Neither I have thumbnails on pictures and music.
Only on playback my TV shows the album cover.

I sent you an e-mail 2 days ago, did you missed it?
Or should I wait a little longer?

    Edit:
Another video with the same resolution worked with the same profile. I don't get why the other video won't work. My TV can't handle the video codec. It is the same after the transcoding.
    Code:
    Stream #0:0(eng): Video: h264 (High), yuv420p, 1920x1040, SAR 1:1 DAR 24:13, 23.98 fps, 23.98 tbr, 1k tbn, 47.95 tbc
    Stream #0:0(ger): Video: h264 (High), yuv420p, 1920x1040, SAR 1:1 DAR 24:13, 23.98 fps, 23.98 tbr, 1k tbn, 47.95 tbc (default) (forced)
The first one works, the second one don't.
BTW: The second one is a 3D video and I also tried to set the 3D method in the properties from the video.

Thanks Paul, I tried it asap.
But no change. My TV says still: Video codec not supported during the playback (only audio works).
