Default Directv devices on Mezzmo duplicating

I have read you guys do not have access to test Directv devices, but wondering if anyone else has seen the following. I uninstalled and reinstalled mezzmo. As devices began pinging mezzmo they came up as I'd expect, except all my directv boxes showed up on the device list multiple times, same mac address, same IP address, everything the same. I can delete down to one item on the device list, but my concern this may be the root of my issues with Directv and mezzmo. Does anyone know if you can have Whole home DVR and a direct Ethernet connection to home network to reach Mezzmo through an HR44? I additionally have 3 mini clients & 2 HR24s. My concern is the whole home DVR with direct Ethernet connection causing issues with Mezzmo functioning. Those are the only devices in the house that will simply not work with Mezzmo. I used to have it working about a year ago, but after upgrading Mezzmo I've never gotten them to work. Even changed over to the genie HR44 in hopes a direct Ethernet connection would work, same result as my old setup. I get one song via Mezzmo then the music stops and I get "unable to access media". That is why I'm wondering if it's the whole home DVR thing. What would cause mezzmo to see 4 of the same device, same mac, same ip all showing in the device list? Thanks

Mezzmo should not be listing 4 of the same devices in the Media Devices dialog. We'd like to see a set of logs when this occurs & fix the problem. Steps to follow: Stop your Mezzmo server. Turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo application. In Mezzmo (with the Mezzmo server turned off), go to the Media Devices dialog and delete all devices. Now start your Mezzmo server. Your devices should re-appear in the Media Devices dialog. When you get multiple listings of the same device, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

I am running three HR24s and an H24 on a Whole-Home setup with no problems. Just want to verify that all of the devices coming up with multiple entries or just some of them? I'm wondering if part of the problem might be that the clients run strictly off of the network for all services and since they just "mirror" the HR44, the Genie/Client system could make it look like you have several locations served by a single IP address. Also, if you are running a direct ethernet connection into the HR44, did you turn off the internal wireless connection? Did you previously use a Wireless Cinema Connection kit? Did the technician completely remove it when he installed the HR44?

I also notice that you have a 9 tuner setup. That means you are either using a SWiM16 or dual SWiM8s for your multiswitch. The multiswitches look like big, glorified cable splitters. If you can locate where the cable(s) come into your home from the dish and see if you can identify the model I may be able to provide some insight. If you locate it and see 4 cables coming off the dish into the switch then it is a SWiM 16. Due to their structure, SWiM16s have some silly issues that I could probably look into as a cause, too.

One other possible cause, what router/modem are you connected with? There are some specific models that are causing problems with the MRV, network and internet because of their IP refresh rates. 2Wire branded modem/routers were particularly troublesome a few months back and the NVGH210 (I think that's it, I can check at work tomorrow) that AT&T is passing out is having some issues, too.
