Default Possible to stream from PC to dlna device?

Just downloaded the the trial version of Mezzmo. I tried a lot of servers lately. I have a Sony blu ray home theater and what I am looking for is a media player that can play files from my computer to the home cinema set. I tried Plex, XMBC serviio and many more. They all see my device and my Sony sees the server. But the only way I can play the music or videos is by scrolling trough the folder structure. I have a lot of music so it's not easy to find the right artist or music. Many other server come with a media center, but they only play content on the PC. What I am looking for is a mediaplayer like winamp or xmbc that can be used to control my media from my laptop to my sony home cinema set.
In the features of Mezzmo I read it works with android but also with winamp. My question is there way I use Mezzmo with a mediaplayer which can be controlled from my desktop. Till now the only mediaplayer/server who does this is the JRiver mediaplayer. I hope I can get an answer soon because the trialperiod of JRiver ends soon. I hope Mezzmo has an similar solution because JRiver is also pretty complicated. But if it is the only one I deal with it.

In Mezzmo, you get a bunch of playlists that let you find all your files easily - or you can easily create your own normal or smart playlists to organize & find your files as you like.

Mezzmo does not yet have the ability to push media files to your devices. Most people use apps on their tablet or smartphone to do this since it is really convenient whilst you are moving around your home, sitting on your sofa, etc. These apps let you browse your Mezzmo library, select media files and then push the selected files to your device(s). For a list of recommended apps for your Android or iOS smartphone or tablet, see this post - http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...3230#post23230.

If you need help setting this up, just ask.

Thank you for your answer. I already have some android apps. Right now I am trying with Imediashare and till now it works ok. You wrote in your answer that "Mezzmo does not yet have the ability to push media files to your devices" Does this mean it will be a new feature in the near future? It's nice you can use your phone to play on the device, but you have to admit that the Plex and XBMC media center look great with all nice UI and lots of extra features you cannot get on your phone. It would be nice to have such a mediacenter with the ability to push it to your tv Home cinema set. Just being the devils advocate but why should I buy Mezzmo if there are all kinds of free media servers on the internet. In fact the only software I found which answers my wishes is JRiver media player. It rather complicated when when it works it's great.
I hope Mezzmo will develop a media player in the near future or make it possible to use winamp or an other media player to push media to my device.
I am using the trial version right now and I must say I like a lot although I haven't explored all the possibilities yet. Sometimes it crashes but only when I am streaming and altering metadata at the same time. I guess thats a little to much for my computer? Luckily I still have some time to explore till the end of september (You made me an offer I can't refuse)

We do plan to add "push" features to Mezzmo. If you get any crashes, then we'd like to fix them ASAP. When a Mezzmo crash window appears, click the Go To Folder button and email the crash dump ZIP file to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com. It's great you have some choices for your media server, and we hope you choose Mezzmo - but ultimately it's your choice We are working real hard to make Mezzmo the best media server available with the best customer support available.
