    Default Samsung F8000 - 3D and letterboxing

    Hi

I don't know if this is a Mezzmo or TV issue but...

I just ripped The Hobbit 3D (blu ray) and tried streaming to my TV. It all works except that when in 3D mode the picture becomes full screen, rather than respecting the original aspect ratio with top & bottom bars, so the picture is stretched vertically. Just before the TV switches to 3D it does display the picture (I've tried top/bottom & left/right 3D formats) in the correct ratio. I suspect this may be a TV issue but though I'd ask here!

    Thanks for any help

    Hi Paul

Yes, I tried with and without that 3D setting. The video still displays full screen, rather than in its correct aspect ratio.

    BTW I'm using v3.4.2

    Cheers

    Hi wozza,

OK - send us a set of logs and we'll see what's happening. Turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Stream the video and when it appears full screen, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com. Also, in your email, include the FFmpeg information for the video. Right-click on the video in Mezzmo and click 'Get FFmpeg Information'. Also, take a photo of the TV when playing the movie with your smartphone/camera and include that in your email.
