    Default subtitiles delay

    Hello

i`m using mezzmo since year and till now no major problems but last days (dunno after mezzmo update or panasonic firmware update) i have problem with subtitles synchronization.
Tv series dont have any delay on computer but on tv i see desynchronization. Its look like mezzmo keep subs longer than need. Any suggestions ?

    Regards
    Darek

    Hi Darek,

If Mezzmo is streaming external or embedded subtitles to your TV, then the delay problem will be in your TV's firmware. Try checking your TV's settings/options when the video is playing to see if you can adjust the subtitle delay. Many device let you do this.

If Mezzmo is burning the subtitles into a transcoded video, then you can adjust the subtitle delay in the Subtitle Settings dialog. See this FAQ for more details: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...titling-Basics

We can see what Mezzmo is doing if you send us a set of logs. Turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Stream the video to your TV and when the subtitles are out-of-sync, then stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.
