Question No subtitles on my dvd player

    Hello!

I download Mezzo to stream movies over Wifi from my PC to DVD player (Philips BDP5500), which is connected with HDMI cabel on TV (Philips 42PFL5405H).
The problem is, that i can't figured out, how to provide subtitles. I try many options, but always without success. Does someone had a similar problem? Thanks for help...

Please post the FFmpeg information for one of the videos that you want to see subtitles. Right-click on the video in Mezzmo and click 'Get FFmpeg Information'. Also tell us what device profile you are using for your DVD player. Go to the Media Devices dialog to see this.

Try streaming this file directly to your Blu-ray player and see if it plays. To do this, right-click on the video in Mezzmo and click Properties. On the Properties dialog, go to the Transcoding tab and click Use Original File. Choose your Philips device and click OK. Now Mezzmo will stream the original MKV file and not transcode the file. Try streaming and see if it plays. If it does play but you still don't get any subtitles, then we know that your Blu-ray player does not support displaying Blu-ray PGS subtitles via DLNA.

The current version of Mezzmo (v3.4.2.0) does not yet support Blu-ray PGS subtitles. We are looking at adding this support into an upcoming version.

OK - it looks like your Blu-ray player does not support embedded PGS subtitles streamed via DLNA.
