Default How to show the files by folders

Hello everyone! I would like to: when I access my media server (mezzmo), it shows all files by folders. That way I can see ALL vídeos, and not have to for example, use playlist. I don't want to use playlist. Just see all my videos, and chose the one I want.

In this photo I added the directory Movies from my HD server to library. When I explorer this folder through my cellphone or my WD TV live, it shows nothing.

    I just want this structure:

    Library
    +Music
    -Video
Movies (and when access this folder in any player it shows all videos.
    +Photos

I don't know if I was clear. But if you don't understand, I will try to explain again in other way.

*One way that I could do it, was creating a playlist by type of file, and since all are .mkv it shows all videos, but I have to enter into type of file, mkv, to have access to my videos, instead just click on movies and shows all.

    Thank you

When you add a folder into your Mezzmo library, Mezzmo will display the contents of the folder as it is on disk - so it will display sub-folders and files in the folder. You can add a folder using the 'Add To Library' -> 'Add Folder' toolbar button.

If you see no files when you browse the folder on your devices(s), this may be an access permissions problem where Mezzmo does not have access to the files stored on your NAS or external computer. To fix this, see this FAQ - http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...r-home-network

I already did this! I think you misunderstood! When I imported the folder movies, it automatically filter in the playlists. I am able to see all my videos through the playlists (by first letter, genre, series), but in the folder movies, it doesn't show... how is possible a permission problem if I watch them with no problem?

Understand. Turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Try to browse and play a movie from the folder and when it does not list or play, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

Hey Paul, thanks for the update. I'll try soon. Before I do that, I want to tell you I already had deleted all folders, also all playlists. Then I added by files, (no folder), and all the files were in Videos. Until there good, then I created 2 playlists (by first letter, Series).
All files like Harry Potter, I used the name Harry Potter in all movies on the Series information, so that way I could have JUST the Harry Potter movies into 1 Series. What happens is... when I explore from WD TV Live, in the Series Playlist, it shows the series and ALL videos, not just the series. The same happens when I explore by first letter . Is this a bug? This library for me is really a messy. Could be like windows explorer, where you create whatever you want and that's it.

I'll do the procedure that you sent me. I'll be right back with the results. Thanks

Paul, I updated with that file. It seems to work, but since the update, now to delete a movie or a playlist from library, it takes more than 20 min. It appears, Mezzmo is not responding......
What can it be? And for previous subject I will test it that too.

Ok, I went change my son, and when I came back it seems everything is working fine now. I added a folder with all my movies and called All Movies, then I created a playlist "movies series" with keyword hierarchy Album Artist, then in all Harry Potter movie's for example, I put Harry Potter in the Album Artist field, and they are all together in the same playlist. And now is NOT showing all videos (great ) And is showing all my videos on ALL Movies. Great! So far so good. Thank you Paul for your help!
