Default m2ts to Samsung UE46D8000 stuttering

    Hi,

I'm using Mezzmo to stream Video to Samsung UE46D8000:

Using Profile Samsung E I can stream *.ts in all my formats contained (Video: mpeg, avc; Audio: mpeg, AC3-2, ac3-5.1) without transcoding.
Excellent so far!!! See Film0001.ts below.

But whenever .m2ts is streamed same formats contained as above the stream is stuttering, see Film0002.m2ts below.

Will I need a transcoding, and what would it look like? No Need for pretranscoding as the box has sufficient power.

    Thanks for help,

    Bo

Using the Samsung E device profile, Film0002.m2ts will be streamed directly to your TV without any transcoding. If it is stuttering or playing badly, then I guess that the video has been encoded in such as way that your Samsung TV's firmware cannot decode and play it smoothly. Given you only have one video like this, then you should pre-transcode it & it may correct the (bad) encoding so your TV can play it. The resulting video will look fine on your TV (same resolution, quality, etc.).

Right-click on the video in Mezzmo and click 'Pre-transcode Files'. In the Pre-transcode Files dialog, select your TV and then click Choose Formats. In the Transcoding Formats dialog, select the bolded format and select the 'Force full transcode' checkbox. Click OK and then select the 'Pre-transcode files even if they match the devices supported formats' checkbox. Click OK and wait until the video has been fully transcoded. Then try to stream it. Let us know how you go.

    Thanks for fast response,

the .m2ts files (and that are a lot) originally come from my Humax ICord HD sat Receiver - therefore the option of pretranscoding all of them is not really an option for me.

The .ts files are generated from .m2ts while cutting start/end sections and commercials since I recognized problems with streaming.
So the question remains: Can I (or even better You) setup an on-the-fly transcoding (without generating a lot of diskspace) from m2ts to ts?
