There seems to be an issue with this file on rapidshare, the link on the web site is the same as the link I posted but sometimes the size of the file will be 600mb other times 195mb, so maybe rapidshare has different versions of this file on their mirrored servers? When you get the first link it is the 600 mb file, but if you change the link it becomes the 195mb file and you are allowed to download this because it is less than the 200mb limit?

    Hi,
I reinstalled version 6.0.3.0 and it's downloading Rapidshare files again.I tried the updated versions .4.0 and .5.0 and it wouldn't work those two.So I guess I'll stick with what works for me.3.0.
    Thanks for all your replies.

When a download job is passed from the web browser to DownloadStudio 6.0.3 the cookie passed with the job is used regardless of whether the domain of the referrer matches the domain of the link, so if you download from a page 'www.files.com' that contains rapidshare links and 'www.files.com' has it's own cookie then DownloadStudio 6.0.3 will use this cookie to try and download and will fail to download the rapidshare links. A change was made in 6.0.4 to check the domain of the referrer against the domain of the link and to ignore the cookie if these don't match, this should make downloading from rapidshare much more reliable. Could you please provide us the page from where you are downloading so that we can test this out?

If you don't add ',htm' and just click 'ok' does the file download correctly?
I completely agree with Peter.I also think so..For sites like rapidshare, storing your login details in a site rule will not work, site rule login details only work for servers that use http login and for MegaUpload.com.

How do I search for files in the rapidshare site?

I can not find the RapidShare download link

    Instructions advised were:
How to download files using a RapidShare Free Account

If you do not have a RapidShare Premium account:

Step 1. Start DownloadStudio and click Tools/Options menu item to display the Options dialog. Go to the Site Rules page and make sure the "rapidshare" site rule is enabled. This site rule will make sure you do not exceed the maximum number of connections for RapidShare free accounts.

Step 2. Using your browser, go to the RapidShare download link. The RapidShare web page will be displayed and you may have to wait to download the file. When the download link becomes available, click on the download link and DownloadStudio will catch the download.

Step 3. Click OK and the file will start downloading. That's it!

Rapidshare do not allow users to search for files on their site, you need to use a third party site like http://www.filestube.com to find the rapidshare link to the file you want.
