I also have no problems streaming to the HR44 which is the server in the Genie system. The problem is streaming to the "Genie Mini" clients which are the C41's. I recently emailed support[at]conceiva[dot]com a log file containing an attempt to stream to one of the C41's. Perhaps you guys can figure out whats going on.

If I had to guess whats going on I would say that it has something to do with the C41's communicating with the HR44 and not directly with Mezzmo. Each C41 does have it's own MAC address and therefore can get an IP address from a router. Unfortunately you never see any of these addresses populate in Media Devices list. I wonder what would happen if we could manually add entries to the Media Devices list?

Update: I've installed several other DNLA media servers. Here are the results:

    Mezzmo:
    Folders/Files Visible - Yes
Playback: Black screen, no progress bar shown. Often causes lockups after pressing "BACK," requiring a reboot of the C41 and sometimes even the HR44.

    TVersity:
    Folders/Files Visible - Yes
Playback: Very slow (~5 fps) and with many artifacts. No sound.

    PS3 Media Server:
Folders/Files Visible - Only Folders, no files. (All folders show as empty)
Playback: Can't try without being able to select a file.

    Universal Media Server:
    Folders/Files Visible - Yes
Playback: Instantly drops back to file selection screen. Doesn't lock up C41 or HR44.

I've been looking at the log file I sent to support and have found some funky stuff going on with the IP address. In the green is the correct IP of the C41. Further down in red it appears that the address is backwards. Is this the way it's supposed to be?
