    Default Change folders in Library

I can see where to add new folders to the Media Library through the Setup, but how/where do you delete a Folder?

I originally had all my music files on another networked computer but have since moved them to the one with Mezzmo on it. From perusing the db file with SQLite browser (because of the growing size as mentioned in another post) I can see that part of my issue is that it still has records for some 16,000+ files that I no longer need referenced as they are now in a new location.

You can add a folder via the 'Setup Your Mezzmo Library' dialog or using the 'Add To Library' -> 'Add Folder' toolbar command.

You can delete an existing folder from your Mezzmo library by simply selecting it in the tree in Mezzmo and pressing the DEL key. When prompted, click Yes (don't select the checkbox to delete all files from your folder if you want to keep the files from this folder in your Mezzmo library).

To remove files that no longer exist on disk, use the Maintain Library dialog. On this dialog, select the 'Remove media files from your Mezzmo library that cannot be found on your computer' checkbox and it will remove any non-existing file from your Mezzmo library.

Yes, I had figured out how to add, but... the issue with deleting doesn't seem to be quite so logical / applicable.

Like I said my music was originally on another networked computer. That computer still exists and still has the very same library on it (I simply use it as a backup to my main computer's music library). When I moved it, I simply added the folder and I think this is where I made the mistake as I most likely should have used the "change path" function in the tools. So now when I do maintenance, it obviously still finds the files on the networked folder or doesn't know to delete them from the db file (not sure which the problem is). I don't see any different tree showing the actual source of the files.

The same exists to a lesser degree with my video files.

Am I best off just uninstalling and restarting from scratch as I suspect my db file is a mess? Or can I simply delete the db file(s) and use the setup function again?

To clarify I've attached 3 pictures that explain the issue better.

    1. From SQLite Browser: The file on the networked computer originally used for streaming but no longer needed.
    2. From SQLIte Browser: The current file
    3. From Mezzmo: The only record for that track showing path 2

So what I am trying to accomplish is to get rid of 16000 occurrence of #11.jpg2.jpg3.jpg

Understand now. I'd suggest creating a smart playlist using "Create Playlist" -> "Smart Playlist..." tool bar button. Add a a rule into the smart playlist like:

    [File path] [starts with] [\\RobinBar\music\]

and click OK. That will create a playlist that contains all the files that are from your back-up drive & that you wish to remove from your Mezzmo library (you can right-click on the playlist and click Properties to edit the rule, etc. if you wish to). Now, select the playlist in the tree in Mezzmo and press DEL key. You will be prompted to remove the playlist and, in addition, you should select the "Also delete the files from your Mezzmo library" checkbox and click Yes. This will delete the playlist and all the files listed in the playlist. Given there are 16K files, it could take a few minutes or so.
