Default A mixture of AVI and Folders containing AVI in one directory...

    Hi All,

I have a directory which has a whole heap of AVI movies, some of which are straight up AVI's, and others are hidden within a folder with the name of the title of the movie, and the subtitle file... I will upload screenshot below:

I am wondering if I can make a playlist of the parent directory, then I select (for example the folder called MOVIES then 1-A) the folder and I just get a long list of video files... if you see screenshot if I want to select ARGO then I would have to open the folder and then the ARGO.AVI, but I would like just a list of movies, including ARGO and ALADDIN etc... I hope that makes sense?

I understand I can go through and extract the movies from their individual folders, and paste to parent folder, but I would prefer to not worry about this.

Is it possible? Or is it wishful thinking?

    Cheers for any ideas...

    Thanks
    -Ben

    Hi Ben,

You could use the Movies playlist that is included in Mezzmo. It lists all your movies in a rolodex-style a-Z active playlist. Or, you can create your own smart playlist or active playlist to create a structure you like. If you are unsure how to do this, then let us know what you would like and we'll provide instructions.
