We've been busy fixing and improving bot Mezzmo v4.0 and Mezzmo Android based on feedback from our Public Beta testing. We're nearly done now and we expect it to be released in the next week or so.

Mezzmo Android: Install it on your tablet, smartphone, Android TV or Amazon Fire to browse and stream files from your Mezzmo library to all your devices. Full details at http://www.conceiva.com/products/mez...mo_android.asp
Mezzmo for Kodi Add-on: Install it into Kodi to stream files from your Mezzmo library directly in Kodi. Full details at http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?...odi_user_guide
Mezzmo for Roku App: Install it onto your Roku to stream files from your Mezzmo library. Full details at http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?...oku_user_guide

This makes me happy. I was about to ask when the next version was coming out, since it's been 5 months since the last update.

!!! I hope it finally contains playlists filterable on another playlist !!!

(And the ability to schedule library maintenance without the need for the GUI to be running! ie. done from the service! )

Mezzmo v4.0 will let you use smart playlist rules to filter your active playlists. However, maintenance will still need to be scheduled via the Mezzmo application. We have plans to enhance this via our new Mezzmo Android application.

Very excited to see the new Mezzmo.

I was wondering. Have you guys considered.. Having profiles for devices sync to a cloud ( your server ) So if a new device comes out.. People can just resync there profiles. Without having to wait for a new copy of mezzmo to come out.. or an email with the new profile.

Nice idea, Dion. We'll certainly consider it. We'll need to keep in mind that device profile changes (new or updated) could be dependent on newer versions of Mezzmo as well - but that's manageable using version control.

I know you guys are busy with fixing and testing V4 the last weeks. Paul, do you have any news about the final release date/week?

We have completed both Mezzmo v4.0 and our new Mezzmo Android app . A few Beta testers are giving it a final test for us and, if no problems are found, then we can release it. In the meantime, we are preparing web site, forum, etc. So, not too long to go now - all going well, I'd say you will have it in a few days. Many thanks for your patience!
