Question External subtitle (.SRT) support for XBMC

    Hi conceiva,
First of all, thanks for all your effort to deliver such a good software.

I am now using XMBC as player connecting to Mezzmo 2.1.8.

Most of my videos have external subtitle files, mostly are SRT files.

But the subtitle is not showing on XBMC playback.

I am chinese. So all the video and subtitle files have chinese characters. Is it a problem?

The SRT file has the same name as video file and locates at the same folder as video file.

    Any comment is appreciated.

    Hi,

The issue would be that subtitles are not enabled for the XBMC.

I'm not sure whether XBMC will request/show subtitles, but we can try. If you can send a message to support (at) conceiva (dot) com, I'll send you an updated device profile for the XBMC to try.
