Default Samsung C Series, Samsung E Series, Sony (KDL 2011 Model) Missing Folders and Files

    HI ,

Ive had a couple of issues show up since the move to Ver 4 of Mezzmo.

In the Mezzmo Application i can see all Added Playlist Populated, However if i Browse to Some of the Folders then the Child Folders that Should be displayed do not show up on the Samsung Devices Browser .

If i use the Mezzmo Android App I can see all the folders / files and push them to the TV's to play no problems.

With Sony Unit the folders show up ( that dont even show in the Samsung's) but the Video in the folder does not show at all ( Predominantly *.mp4 files) and some *.vob

Can you recommend a process so i can work through to a solution.

    Cheers Jason

    Hi Jason,

First thing to make sure: When you are browsing (say) videos from your Mezzmo server, make sure that you are in Video mode on your device. If you are in Photo or Music mode, then your device will not list videos since they are not music or photos. It's quite a common mistake for this to happen.

If that did not help, then it's best we see a set of logs. Turn on logging (see http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) and restart your Mezzmo server. Now reproduce the empty folder/no files problem on one of your devices. Once reproduced, stop your Mezzmo server and exit Mezzmo. Zip up all the logs and email them to us at support [at] conceiva [dot] com.

Mezzmo Android: Install it on your tablet, smartphone, Android TV or Amazon Fire to browse and stream files from your Mezzmo library to all your devices. Full details at http://www.conceiva.com/products/mez...mo_android.asp
Mezzmo for Kodi Add-on: Install it into Kodi to stream files from your Mezzmo library directly in Kodi. Full details at http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?...odi_user_guide
Mezzmo for Roku App: Install it onto your Roku to stream files from your Mezzmo library. Full details at http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?...oku_user_guide

Default Samsung and Sony Folder Issues

    Hi,
ive checked with a temp mezzmo install on a 64bit Win7 Machine and the Folders / Movies appear almost instantly .. perhaps there is a resource issue ?

On my Normal Media Server Machine if i start looking for a file then Mezzmo media Server gets to approx 22% CPU Usage ( Total on Machine 50 % so at face value doesn't look like a bottleneck .

    Cheers Jason
