    Default Virtual Soundcard - Jamcast

A great additional feature missing from Mezzmo is the Virtual Soundcard option that would allow anything being played on the server machines sound card being streamed to a DNLA device. Like the feature found in other applications such as Jamcast.

This would allow services such as Spotify to be streamed. Something that Jamcast does very well.

    Any chance?

How would this work? For something like Spotify to be streamed via Mezzmo to a DLNA device?

Has this subject been forgotten? I've just recently tested streaming Spotify via. Jamcast, it would be really nice to have this features within Mezzmo so you'll avoid to have to DLNA servers running.

No, it's not forgotten, but at the moment development is concentrated on higher-priority items such as pre-transcoding and subtitles. Once we release the next major update (with subtitles), we'll look into this.

No worries Dennis, I was just wondering since it's over a year ago the last post happened in this thread. Personally I prefer those two features before this one as well. Just it would be a nice feature to have.
