File tag updating

I must say that they last couple of upgrades have gone very nice, and Mezzmo is becoming a very robust, powerful DLNA server! Hats off. I have been a long time user and have watched it go through many revisions......

What I would still like to see is that when I update the properties within Mezzmo, that the tags attached to the media file be updated as well. With almost 20k files it can be interesting/difficult to keep tags updated in multiple spots. I now know on any new file to make sure the tags are fully accurate, etc. but still have many files that need updating within the Windows environment. It would be very nice if any time I update properties within Mezzmo if would update the resident file tags as well!

Thanks for the suggestion. To date, we have a philosophy not to touch users' files in anyway. However, we can see that updating users' files with the rich metadata that has been collected can be useful, so we'll consider the idea for the future version of Mezzmo.
