Default Just an FYI for BB10 users with Mezzmo Android if there are others

V1.0.8 doesn't seem to be completely compatible with BlackBerry 10 devices and the Android Runtime. Browsing and 'playing to' other devices works fine, but attempting to playback on the device itself will stall and ultimately fail to playback on the Blackberry itself.

Rolling back to v1.0.0.7 fixes the problem.

    Hi,
we can investigate this problem and try to resolve it if you re-install v1.0.8 on the device then enable diagnostic logging in the settings of the app and try to play a file locally on the device itself. After the file fails to play send us the logs at support [at] conceiva [dot] com and we can try to fix this for the next update.

Mezzmo Android: Install it on your tablet, smartphone, Android TV or Amazon Fire to browse and stream files from your Mezzmo library to all your devices. Full details at http://www.conceiva.com/products/mez...mo_android.asp
Mezzmo for Kodi Add-on: Install it into Kodi to stream files from your Mezzmo library directly in Kodi. Full details at http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?...odi_user_guide
Mezzmo for Roku App: Install it onto your Roku to stream files from your Mezzmo library. Full details at http://www.mezzmo.com/wiki/doku.php?...oku_user_guide

Excellent, I will definitely do that since 1.0.8 was much quicker and more responsive than 1.0.0.7.

Didn't expect a response, since technically, Blackberry is not a supported OS.

If I'm not the only one out there........

Good news for any Blackberry 10 users out there, I just installed v4.1 on my server and also updated to the latest Mezzmo Android v1.1 and can confirm that it works with BB10 just fine. Where v1.0.0.8 would not play to the device, this seems to be working fine now. Please note that there is a little lag (about 12 seconds) between selecting the media and when playback actually begins on the device (Z-10 in my case), but it most definitely works.
