    Default 2.1.10.0 - Randomly missing play/pause function

I've been using Mezzmo for a few weeks now and just come across a strange situation where, for seemingly random .AVIs, the play/pause function is missing on my Samsung UN46B7000 TV. I'm using the Samsung A profile (have tried B & C too).

One thing all the files I've seen so far that exhibit this problem have in common is that they are all ripped from my blu rays, BUT not all the AVIs I've ripped from blu rays have the problem! For example, Iron Man 2 will play/pause, but Prince Of Persia will not. I've ripped both the same way. The files themselves seem to play fine.

I know Samsung's DLNA is flaky when it comes to transport control, but I've never had a problem with play/pause before. Any ideas?

Do you know if these files play natively or are transcoded? Can you please post FFmpeg information for both, so we can compare and see if there's any difference?

I've switched transcoding off completely so they should be native.

    Here's the FFmpeg info:

    Thanks for the info!

They look pretty much identical and should both be passed through natively. Can you please also post Mediainfo for both files, as maybe there're more subtle differences that FFmpeg is not picking up?

    Thanks for the additional info!

I suspect that we know the cause of this, but it needs functional changes to Mezzmo, so I can't send anything to try yet. We'll be working on implementing these changes over the next few days and hopefully this will get all files going properly.

I assume 2.1.11 wasn't supposed to fix this issue? FYI I've downloaded it and it hasn't. That being the case, any idea when it might be fixed

Actually it was (albeit partially) If the tweak from the other thread doesn't work, please send a message to support (at) conceiva (dot) com and I'll send you an updated device profile to try.
