Default Pause ffd rewind work over wireless but not when wired

    Hello!

I've been using Mezzmo for a good month now and recently bought a new router which has 5ghz capabilities.

I'm streaming Mezzmo through a sony bdp-s5100 to my sony tv. Doing that over the built in wireless works fine in most cases - in some mkv cases there is some troubles with mkv files which cannot be read - this can be solved by transcoding them myself.

Now i connected a EA N66 access point by cable to my blueray - and get the 5ghz signal though my network. The connection is much faster and much more stable like this. The problem MKV files can even be played. The problem I face now: I can't pause, fast forward or rewind ANY video now. Switching back to wireless it works again (but cuts out from time to time, so I'd really like the 5ghz option to work)

Does anyone know why that suddenly doesnt work anymore over the cable/5ghz solution?

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Manny

Just a thought... can you tell, from the Media Devices dialog in Mezzmo, whether Mezzmo is detecting the same Device, and using the same Device Profile, with the new connection as with the old one? If not, the answer might be connected to that.

Thank you for your answer. In both cases it is listed with Device Profile Sony BDP, HT, SMP (2011 Models)

edit: I got it solved! Thank you Coises!

When connected by 5ghz and wire it was recognized as the PC streaming with the windows media player profile. i didnt realize that because I didnt make the connection between my PC name and the BR player. Streaming a file I now saw that i was streaming to my pc - i changed the pc device profile to sony and now it works flawlessly! Thank you!!!
