    Hi Mark,

Is that with the updated device profile or with officially released 2.1.11?

    Hi Mark,

Did you update Mezzmo to 2.1.11 as well or not yet? If you haven't yet, then I would suggest making a backup of the device profile before the update (they'll be put in a backup folder during installation in any case though), then update Mezzmo and see if it still works (on previously untranscoded files). If it doesn't, please replace the device profile again and see if that helps. Since the changes were not tested thoroughly before update, they weren't part of 2.1.11, but I'll make them part of the next update then, if everything works.

    Hi Dennis,

I installed the new Version, but the aspect ratio was still not OK. With the profile you sent me the aspect ratio is ok, when I change the TV setting from "wide" (normal 16:9 setting) to "zoom".

    Thanks

    Mark

    Hi Mark,

Yes, that's expected - as I mentioned above, the update you were using didn't make it into 2.1.11, but will be there for the next minor update. Do you still have the device profile I sent?

    Hello Conceiva Staff,

I have installed the Trial Version of Mezzmo 2.1.11.0 yesterday; fantastic and plays my MKV files

I am streaming the data by wireless - 10 metres TV to modem and 10 metres computer to modem

My laptop is an ACER 5740G with Intel I-5 processor 430M 2.26 Ghz (looks like 2 cores for laptop)
-- 1GB ATI mobility radeon HD 5650 graphics card up to 2746 MB Hyper Memory
    -- 4 GB memory
    -- Windows 7

When I stream mkv movie it appears in 16:9 on my Pansonic P50V20A TV (should be 21:10 format).
-- The picture is stretched upwards - the same problem as Mawie on 10-04-2010 07:54 PM #1 for this thread.
-- I have deleted the temporary transcoded files and increased the maximum folder size to 50GB
-- maximum transcoders set to 2

I still have a problem where the mkv movie is still 16:9

    my videos are stuttering
When I play the 25 GB Avatar mkv movie, this video is stuttering when I stream them to my TV
-- video bitrate is set to low (less quality, faster transcoding and delivery)
    -- movie still stutters

I would very much appreciate your help

    Regards
    John

    Hello John,

Please send a message to support (at) conceiva (dot) com and we'll send you an updated device profile for your Viera to try and fix the aspect ratio. We'll look at the stuttering issue as well - can you please turn on logging (see this thread: http://forum.conceiva.com/showthread...nostic-logging) then delete transcoded files and try to play Avatar again. Once it stutters please stop the server and send the logs to the e-mail above as well.

Is your wireless connect A/B/G or N? If it's N, I'd recommend not to change the network/bitrate settings at first, as reducing the bitrate may actually increase transcoding time (if quality is kept the same).

Default Panasonic DMP-BD88 wrong aspect ratio

    Dear Mezzmo Team,

as I have been using Your trial software for some days, I would like to specify a problem I am facing. Movies I watch are being displayed with wrong aspect ratio. Everything shows up in 16:9, even when originally they had a different aspect ratio.

    One example:
