Default Playback ends when fast forwarding past halfway on Panasonic LCD

    Hi,

I am using a Panasonic D25 LED LCD TV. Of the various DLNA servers I have tried to date for Win XP, Mezzmo has proved to be the best by far for playback of TS files. Others I have tried and not been satisfied with include Twonky, Win 7 & Nero.

The only problem I have with Mezzmo so far is during the playback of some TS files, playback will end abruptly about the half way point. An example is:

    - TV show recorded has an elapsed time of 1hr:17min
    - I wait to make sure the show has been transcoded completely
    - I would like to watch the show at some arbitrary point, e.g. after I stopped watching the live broadcast.
    - I select the TV show and fast forward.
    - At about the 30min mark when fast forwarding (depends on the show), playback is terminated
    - If I fast forward to before the 30min mark, playback resumes correctly and past the 30min mark until the end of the show
    - Interestingly, once past the 30min mark, pause and fast forward then cause the show to end abruptly.

I will email the logs through. After taking a look, my guess is what ever is happening occurs at about line 4840.

What do you make of it?

    Cheers, JP

    Hi,

We'll need the full logs to understand it better and I think you've already sent them in, right?

There's an updated device profile for Vieras that we have here, but the first thing I notice from the snippet above is that you're using the "Panasonic BDP" device profile instead of "Panasonic Viera", so that's the first thing that needs changing (via the Media Devices dialog). I'll send you an updated device profile to try as well (via e-mail).

Yes, logs have been emailed in.

I did notice the "Panasonic BDP" even though I had manually changed the profile to "Panasonic Viera", however will need to need to double check to be sure.
